About the Government College Women University
Since 1934, Government College Women University Faisalabad has evolved into an intermediate college. A degree college was established in 1944, and postgraduate disciplines appeared in 1985. When the status of a University was granted on 5th January 2013, the long journey that started with a humble beginning reached its climax.
The University serves over six million residents in the city and an equal number in the surrounding area. There is a historical clock tower nearby, on Jaranwala Road. University offers 31 Bachelor’s, one Associate Degree in ADE, B.Ed. programmes (1.5 years), 17 Master programmes, 10 M.Phil programs, and 5 PhD programs.
