Sami Goods Transport Pvt Ltd is seeking a dynamic and proactive Finance Officer with a strong background in accounting and audit. This challenging full-time position is based in Gujranwala and offers a competitive monthly salary between Rs 40,000 and Rs 80,000. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the finance team, collaborating with various departments and territories within the organization.
Responsibilities:
The Finance Officer's responsibilities will encompass a wide range of financial activities, including but not limited to:
Conducting balance sheet reconciliations and preparing management accounting packs, offering proactive support during month-end and periodic analytical processes for regional teams.
Extracting real-time reports from the ERP system to ensure accurate and timely balance sheet reconciliations across multiple companies and territories within the group.
Reconciling general ledger and sub-ledger accounts to source data and the system to verify the accuracy of all recorded transactions.
Handling inter-company account reconciliations and assisting local teams in monthly balance clearance.
Analyzing ERP reports to identify unusual trends and patterns, promptly flagging potential problem areas.
Providing support to project teams in project data analysis and working capital analysis as needed.
Assisting country and regional finance teams during year-end processes.
Supporting relevant stakeholders during peak activity periods such as budgeting and board meetings.
Assisting the Country Finance Manager during internal and external audit assignments, including organizing financial information, processing audit requests, and providing follow-up support with internal and external stakeholders when necessary.
Providing coverage for regional finance teams within the group during overseas leaves.
Executing any additional tasks assigned by the FSC Team Leader and the Country Finance Manager – Pakistan.

Requirements:
A relevant professional qualification in accounting and finance.
Prior experience in finance, accounting, and audit roles.
Proficiency in MS Office applications.
Strong verbal and written English skills.
